What is the difference between wearing a tinted visor helmet and sunglasses when riding?

I was stopped by TP because of using tinted visor for my helmet. Because of that, I fight back telling him why he is wearing sunglasses when riding. Isn't it the same? Instead of getting a warning, I've got a ticket worth of $50 just for that. I took the ticket, crumple it and put it inside my IU unit. Hahahahah...... Fuck the law! I hate POLICE!
